Changes in Committee
It is with regret that we announce that Peter Halliday has left the Committee and will no longer be our Treasurer or Public Officer. We thank Peter for all the good work he has done in the past and wish him well in his future ventures.
Mark Jarzebowski has resigned from his position as Senior Vice President due to pressure of other commitments, but assures us he wishes to remain deeply involved in the .NET community. We look forward to seeing him at many DevSIG meetings in the future.
Ed Richard has stepped down from his active role on the Committee but remains as convenor of MOSSIG. He has some great ideas for building up the Office/Sharepoint presence, and we look forward to seeing those come to fruition over the coming months.
We are obliged to hold elections to fill the positions of Treasurer and Senior Vice President as soon as practicable, and this will most likely be at the Annual General Meeting, due early in the next financial year.

.NET solution shields water supply
Vital utilities such as communications, water, gas and electricity depend heavily on underground cabling and pipes. Damage or disruption to these underground assets is inconvenient at best; at worst, it can be life threatening or commercially disastrous. Damage can also be expensive to repair.
