The following motions were passed at the AGM held on 10 October 2006:

This meeting accepts the Minutes as set out for the 2004-2005 AGM

This meeting accepts and elects unopposed all persons nominated for each Eexcutive position

This meeting thanks all outgoing Executive & Committee members and all past Executive Committee members and acknowledges their great contribution to our Association

The meeting thanks Collins Rex for the work she has done for the Association

This meeting remembers all of our past members who have died and we honour them with a minute’s silence

This meeting adopts the following membership fees, applicable to all members from 01 January 2007:

Single membership and 1 vote $60.00

Student membership and 1 vote $30.00

Multi-memberships, suitable for Business, Industry, Government, Semi-Government, Corporate, Partnership and Trustee classes of membership each having entitlement to the number of votes shown:

Multi 1, (allows registration up to 3 staff), and 3 votes $120.00

Multi 10, (allows registration up to 10 staff), and 6 votes $360.00
-
Multi 25, (allows registration up to 25 staff), and 12 votes $720.00
-
Multi +, (no upper limit on the number of staff who may be registered), and 30 votes $1,800.00

Australian Swimming IS redesigned
New web-based National Swimming Database reduced member renewal processing by up to 3 weeks and increased the rate of registrations by 33 per cent.
WDG helped Australian Swimming Inc. (ASI) reduce development time by 60 per cent using Microsoft.NET – allowing ASI to realise a return on their investment sooner.
